Ronan by Ch. Clinet ‘Ronan Laborde’

It could be argued that naming a wine after yourself is kind of an egotistical thing to do. But when we met Ronan Laborde owner of Château Clinet, we discovered that he couldn’t be further from this.

He is the kind of guy that is almost visibly bursting with energy. His partner Monique, who is Business development Manager, explained that Ronan wakes up with these weird and wonderful ideas, and then makes them happen.

The Importance of Temperature

We are almost in October and the winter in beginning to creep in, and with this people are generally switching to red. This can inspire a desire to whack the serving temperature up for reds, in-line with central heating.
The most common misconception is that red wines should be served at room temperature and white wines stuck in an ice bucket for an hour. This can result in a total violation of the wines aromas and flavours.
